Carrie’s therapeutic interventions uncover of the effects of problems, activate motivations, and encourage change towards more preferred ways of being.
Carrie approaches nutrition counseling from an educational perspective and works collaboratively with her clients to develop realistic and individualized programs for lifelong health and vitality. She believes that food should be enjoyable, rather than a source of stress and anxiety. Carrie provides her clients the tools to meet their goals while instilling a sense of confidence and ownership in making healthy lifestyle choices.
Growing up performing ballet and other forms of dance, Carrie has always lived a very active lifestyle. Today, she regularly participates in endurance sports, such as running and cycling as well as practicing yoga and Pilates. She also enjoys spending time at the Del Mar Dog Beach or hitting the hiking trails with her two “crazy” weimaraners. Most importantly, she clears her schedule to watch college football and cheer on her favorite team, “the Amazin’ Blue.” Go Blue!
